CivicSense Terms of Service

Last updated: April 23, 2026

By using CivicSense ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of the App

CivicSense is a civic reporting tool that lets residents file infrastructure issue reports with local government agencies. You agree to use it only for its intended purpose — reporting legitimate, factual infrastructure issues in your community.

2. Account

You sign in using your Google or Apple account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

3. Content You Submit

By submitting a report, you grant CivicSense a non-exclusive license to share that report (including photos and location) with the relevant government agency for the purpose of resolving the reported issue. You retain ownership of your content.

4. Disclaimers

CivicSense acts as a conduit between residents and government agencies. We do not guarantee that any agency will respond to or resolve a reported issue. The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CivicSense shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
